Slappy’s is a local gem. Nobody can get enough of their fried chicken. And don’t forget that special sauce, it is truly a modern, culinary marvel. The mac and cheese, and those epic collard greens, are definitely something to write home about. Go for the double dip and a side of extra sauce. This is the establishment of kings, and jesters alike.
Me and my mom were visiting town to go to the goodwill and it was reaching lunchtime. We both love trying new foods, especially if it’s local. This was the first place to come up on our google search and based off of the menu and great reviews we decided to go. It’s hard to find parking but it’s totally worth it! The dipped chicken was amazing and the sides were perfect. Wonderful atmosphere with super nice staff and really affordable food!
ok sooo we nva heard of this restaurant until we were sitting at a light..we looked ova as the customers devour the chicken so we were like thts gotta be good.. I checked out the reviews and they were all 5 stars...so my husband and I go in the restaurant and just like the reviews the service was great and helpful. . And the food was delicious..I attached photos below
I was recommended Slappy’s about two years ago and never followed up... well I am happy I did. The service at Slappy’s is awesome, super speedy, and the food was delectable. There are tons of combo options and awesome sides. This is the type of food if you ate at a family gathering everyone would say “WHO MADE THIS”?! I’ll be back.
First timer. Got the 1/4 chicken lower dipped with Mac & cheese and Collard Greens and extra sauce. Definitely did not disappoint and will enjoy again.
The food here is amazing. Service was top notch as well. That slappy sauce is really good. It's a must try. Food was so good I ordered a plate to go after eating the 1/2 of chicken plate . If you haven't gone here yet, your missing out. Highly recommend this place. I'll be going here more often
I can understand how this place got voted #1 for best chicken in Forsyth County, that chicken is freaking delicious. Perfect amount of heat and sweet. The Mac and cheese and the collards are the best sides in my opinion. This has a very down home atmosphere, perfect for a quick lunch or a grab and go, with amazing prices! The service was also super quick, we will definitely be going back again.
